This is a side hobby in addition to my full time job...
"Funny Honey" or honey that has been adulterated with other sugars (corn syrup, agave, sugar)can be purchased from grocery stores, large corporations, or imported from other countries, which is why the price is less that $1 per pound. Given the effort and supplies required, raw unfiltered and unprocessed honey made only by bees in the United States and harvested by local beekeepers is priced between $1-$2 by weight (lbs), not by fluid ounce (fl oz).
... So what happened was, I took some honey that had crystalized, whipped it to break down the crystals and add air, and what results is a marshmallow like texture great for spreading on toast or adding to hot drinks.
